Memorial SectionThe original section on the eastern side (Buninyong side) of the cemetery was first used in 1852. It was divided into four denominational sections - Wesley, Presbyterian, Episcopalian (Anglican) and Baptist) plus sections for "Independent" and "Other" and Chinese burials.
Now, however, there is no need for any religious affiliation to be buried here. Many plots are available in this area. Most graves are marked by stone memorials of various forms. |
